In India, Manipur there is a
market that is running by the only women .Nearly there is four thousand shops all
the shops have been circulated by only women. Man has no allowed staying there
due to no one man can seem there only the women. Therefore, it is known as the Asia‘s
largest women market.

In that period there was a Lailapa
tradition .According to that tradition all the male who belongs to Maiti
community they were compelled to do work in place of king. All the male had
gone to work at king’s place due to responsibilities came into female as a
result all the women themselves began to work in agriculture and market. Consequently,
this tradition transfer from one generation to another generation.
Similarly, features of market
where only the married are women allow working in market. All the women are hardcore
in their business. On the other hand some people raises their voice against the
tradition also need to restructure and both male and female should be allow to
open shop but the unity of women they protest towards them and they able to k
ept
existence of this market.
